Up sells/upgrades

As noted best to call. I usually do a mock booking online, and call to see if I'm eligible for an upgrade, etc. On previous cruises, I would call before I became fanatic with different rates and promos to see if the price had dropped just to see if I was eligible for a different rate or promo, and most times I could do an upsell to a better cabin or deck for minimal money ($0.00-$120.00 total), often going from an IS to a BL.

I got a call yesterday. They left a message offering to sell me an upgraded suite for next week. I didn't respond. My budget hasn't increased since the initial booking.

 

 

Got a call to "upgrade" to a suite from a balcony for "only" $600. Ummm, no thanks. :rolleyes:
