Amerryscot Posted August 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2014 There are lots of little beaches dotted around the bay, walking distance from the terminal.
Gordo Posted August 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2014 There are lots of little beaches dotted around the bay, walking distance from the terminal. Our tour plans fell thru for Kotor next month so we are thinking of just walking to a beach by the ship. Would you please share your suggestions for a beach near the port that has really nice swimming? We would also like this beach area to have a casual atmosphere, with nice sun chairs, and possibly snack/beverage service (this part optional). We don't arrive in port until 2pm so a couple hours on the beach sounds good. Thanks.

Hi Kimberley It sounds like you probably want more than this, but if all else fails the last 30 secs or so in this shows us swimming off a shingly beach. The water was very clean and you'll be looking at your ship while you do it. No chairs etc, and it probably doesn't even have a name but we enjoyed it. maidncruze Posted August 28, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 28, 2014 It's about 18km from Kotor to Jaz beach. Well worth the trip if you can fit it in.
Gordo Posted August 28, 2014 #10 Share Posted August 28, 2014 Thanks for the information. How readily available are cabs in the area? If you hire one in the port can you typically do a round trip so the cab driver returns at a specific time to bring you back to the ship?
