Bringing Alcohol on a carnival Cruise.

Last March, In Long Beach Ca. Not smuggling. My MIL was in a wheel chair. Going thru security and I over hear them talking about new ways to check for smuggling. My Cooler is on the belt starts to get checked, same security who was just talking about new smuggling...... You don't have to check them, They have a wheelchair. So just make sure to have someone in a wheelchair.

In the Past I have been able to bring a bottle on board lets say Seagrams 7 in a 2 liter Ginger Ale bottle, along with Real Diet Coke, and about a 6 pack of 1liter water. Have they got more restrictive it has been a few years since last time I cruised. Please advice sailing in a couple months

I still use the same methods I've always used getting my 2 bottles on, and still have no problem. I just don't post my method.
