Tahiti in January

Recommended Posts

Hi, am thinking of doing Tahiti to New Zealand in January. I think it's the rainy season in Tahiti. We were in Singapore during the rainy season and it did rain for a little bit every day but other than that was sunny, hot and humid. Anyone know if Tahiti's rainy season is like that?????

Thanks..Judy

It can rain for days but most of the time it is very heavy downpours and then it clears up. I have been to Tahiti for New Years and it did not rain one drop. Then I went in July (very much the NON rainy season and we had about three mornings with rain). It is more humid of course so it feels a lot hotter although the temperature is not that much higher. Weather - who can predict it.

We were there last January, Judy, it did seem like your experience in Singapore. It was warm to hot and sunny. Only very occasionally did it rain for a bit, but not every day. We found it quite pleasant.
