Hotel Recommendation Near San Pedro

I am not looking for the Crown or Doubletree but something near the port as we are driving and do not want all the craziness leaving the hotel for the cruise.

 

Would like to spend around $100. Maybe something in Torrence.

Why Torrance? You'll be at least ten miles away from the port. And what do you mean by "craziness"?

10 miles would be fine. We have stayed at the Crown Plaza before and also when it was a Sheraton but found it very crowed in the morning trying to check out and leave. It just seemed that everyone was trying to leave at the same time.

A few years ago we stayed at a motel in Torrance The Eldorado Coast Hotel.

 

They had a free shuttle to the San Pedro port, but you had to take a taxi back after the cruise. Not sure if they still do this.

If you just want to get down the hill, you could always stay in Ontario/RanchoCucamonga area. An hour away from port.
