lovebears Posted August 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2014 What is the best and least expensive way for 2 people to get from Carnival cruise ship post cruise to flight at Hobby airport? We would be there in the beginning of March. Sailing from San Juan and ending at Galveston. Thanks so much ,:)
PacificMountain2012 Posted August 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2014 I would use Carnival's transfers. They may not quite be the lowest price, although for two it will be close, but they will certainly be competitive. They will be the easiest, as you don't have to worry about them showing up. Also, remember to book your flight out with plenty of time to get to the airport. We have never booked before 1:00, partially due to schedule but also due to making sure we are on the flight. Have a great cruise!

Plus tip, of course. Bring something to read. You're going to have a loooong day at the airport.:p You might consider spending some time in Galveston before going to Hobby. tncap Posted August 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 15, 2014 Depending on your airline, you likely won't be able to check-in until 1:20pm based on your flight time. I would normally recommend the Carnival transfer but in this case I would recommend one of the shuttle companies that does a tour (NASA, etc.) that ends at the airport. Love this idea with our late flight. What tour/shuttle companies should I look for? Thanks so much!

Princess offers a transfer that includes Space Center Houston (aka NASA). There's also a Houston Landmarks tour but there are no stops, it's just a drive by. Both will still get you to the airport early. But every little bit helps.:o Carnival probably offers these also.
