Life is Good Cruising Posted August 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2014 There will be a bank of slot machines, about 10 of them, that the cruise line will use for the slot tournament, which are always held on sea days. There is a fee to play which will vary per cruise line, $20 or $25. You will be assigned a machine and be given 5 minutes to play. You have to continuously hit the spin button fast and score as many points as you can in 5 mins. You will get quite a workout when you are finished playing. They will have several rounds in a given day of 10 players per round. On the last sea day, the top 10 players with the highest score of points in the tournament will face off with each other in another 5 min round and cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 players. If enough players sign up, sometimes the grand prize is a free 7 night cruise. The cash prize is determined on how many players sign up for the tournament and can be in the hundreds of dollars for 1st, 2nd and even 3rd place. Wishing you good luck if you decide to play in a tournament and you never know, you can be the grand prize winner :)
