solehigh Posted August 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2014 When booking this excursion how long do you get to spend with the dolphins? Also how deep is the water husband has to have his feet on the bottom or he will panic.
Sean Paul Romera Posted September 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) We went to cayman on a cruise celebrating our 10th anniversary. we did the Dolphins and Stingray City Excursion. This was a GREAT experience. The staff were very engaging and funny. They made you feel very at ease with getting in the water with the dolphins. They have different packages that include different experiences with the Dolphins. My Husband and I did the Dolphin Encounter because we cannot swim, the water is waist deep so you should be fine :):) We got a good amount of time to interact with the dolphin. Stingray City was fun too. When we got back The staff at Dolphin Cove were all very nice. They a spent a lot of time with us showing us the parrots and iguanas. While we were waiting on our bus they asked us if we wanted to see the New National Geograpic Underwater phot Exibit. It was really cool loved it. Tommy.Lee_1 Posted September 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2014 i can vouch for this tour. its sold on the cruise ship and you can’t book it direct. i have personally met many people who have raved about this experience - stingray city and then a swim with the dolphins. the photos are a bit expensive… but the combination tour has won awards as per the local newspaper… best of the caribbean tour by Princess cruise lines. they also have a bunch of other smaller attractions like tamed iguanas, tarpons, birds etc. i can definitely vouch for this combination tour - but must book thru the ship…
