Your Voyage DVD

It is a DVD of the cruise made up of stock footage of the ship plus footage taken of your cruise, both on and off the ship [on ship's excursions]. It is always possible that you will be on the DVD. This is particularly likely to happen if you hang out on the ship at some of the "main events" or take the popular ship's excursions.

We have purchased them on many of our cruises but will probably not do so again. It can be fun to watch once but, occasionally, it is not even that. I use it primarily to take stills from to add to any gaps in our photo album but it is an expensive way of doing that!

The main problem with the DVD is that the quality varies considerably. We have cruised following the upgrades of the M-class ships to find that they have not updated the stock footage of the ship. I consider that to be unacceptable but, once home in the UK, it is not easy to do much about it.

They should the video in the photo shop and on the TV as it is being put together so you can see some of the footage that will be included. You may, therefore, want to decide until you are on board before you decide whether or not to purchase theDVD.
