Norway Cruise

Recommended Posts

I've got a general question. In checking the itinerary (July 23rd out of Copenhagen,) it looks as though we will he heading south most of the time around the country. Does that mean that one side of the ship will normally get much better views than the other - - - or does it mean that I don't read maps well? Cabin not assigned yet.

thanks

I read it as the day at sea, we only see the sea & then we turn south. I imagine how much we will see from our cabin balcony will depend on how close to the shore we sail. Between some of those 1 or 2 hour stops I am sure land will always be in sight, but since it will be daytime we can always watch from the deck. I guess we will find out.
BYW - when I did a Med cruise a few years ago much of the time I could see the lights from the Spanish coast in the distance at night, but ti really didn't make a difference because of all the activities on the ship. Now sailing past the Rock of Gilbralter at night I was definitely glad to be where I could watch this from my room in my nightgown - but then I missed the lights from Morocco.
Have you noticed the cruise tours with some pricings are now on the RSSC site.
