Con Tiki beach

Has anybody been to Con Tiki beach recently? We were there several years ago and they where putting up condos. I just wondered if it's still a decent place to go or mostly private now.

Kontiki doesn't exist anymore. The property is called Cabana Beach and is part of the long stretch of beach/bars/shops all the way to Seaquarium beach. It is very popular with both tourists and locals and is not too far from the cruise port.

We are stopping here on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014. If we want to go to the beach would you recommend this Cabana Beach. How would we get there from the ship, taxi? Is there a "best" place to instruct them to drop us off?

This is a very popular spot. Just tell the driver to drop you off at Seaquarium beach and you're set.

Taxi is $20 one way for a max of 4 guests. You can go by bus, but you'll only be saving like $2 per person and it will take MUCH longer.
