Glory...where does it dock in Cozumel?

We were on Glory last December and she docked at the far terminal where you have to look back down toward Cozumel - great place for those who do not care to go into town because they have built shops and restaurants right on the dock with a sand area, community square, etc. - we sat down at the

end and had lunch and margueritas at Pauncho"s Back Yard -nice, new and they had a band, etc. in a couple of different places. They also have tons of cabs for those who want to go into town - and the excursions pick you up from the docks right there in front of the ship - enjoy it! Happy Sails to you.

Have the Mariachi band (sp?)? Somwtimes they are there and other times are not, same with the tequila samples at entrance of the duty free shopping.

Also I have found the shopping at the duty free shops and in the kiosks nearby the port have very good prices.

4 weeks till I sail the Glory!!

It's the Playa Maya pier - furthest from town but it's brand new only built two years ago. It has tons of stores and shops. We sailed the Glory in April and there are even more stores than when it first opened in 2003 (there on the Triumph). There is a Ron Jon's shop which is new as well as a couple of restaurants. BIG duty free shop as you walk off the pier but you can walk outside if you don't want to go through it.

 Are you sure you aren't talking about the Puerta Maya Pier? (The one Carnival owns)... Huge duty-free store you walk through or around, Fat Tuesdays right there on the left, mega shops, Pancho's Backyard.
