Snorkeling - Mexican Riviera

We will be going on the 10 night Mex Riv. Cruise on Nov. 11. Which port offers the best snorkleing, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta or Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo? Which ports have the most to offer as to a "walking tour"? :)

Best Snorkel port, IMHO, Cabo...That said, it all depends where they take you...some of the better snorkeling beaches are far onto the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of Calif.) side

Best "walking" town? Puerto Vallarta...It's easily the most charming and historical...best shopping and restaurants, most attractive...And it's the more long running resort...Cabo is really "brand new" as resort towns go...Ixtapa IS Brand new...the adjoining Zihuatenejo is an old fishing village, somewhat charming, but not quite Puerto Vallarta...not as picturesque or scenic...
