We are going on a family cruise on Breakaway in July 2015. We are 21 people. Any ideas how to keep in touch with each other, with teens, pre teens and with grandma and grandpa? It is too hard to start walking around the ship to find each other. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

I just came off the Breakaway. We got the I-Concierge package that added text messaging and phone service. They give you a unique NCL number and then you can text or phone each other. It is $7.95 per person that you add. For us the texting was WONDERFUL! We couldn't get the phone service to work for anything. That was a bit of a problem as my husband NEVER checks his cell phone even though after the first full day I was calmly  telling him to check the phone when he was separated from the group every hour or so.

Other things that might work: post it notes on the outside of doors magnets hold them in place or placing a note in between the room number sign and the wall.

I remember reading about this when I was preparing for my cruise and some people had walkie talkies. I don't think I would have wanted to carry that around with me.

We also found that we ate dinner together every night. At dinner we spoke about what we might be doing the following day so people had a little idea of where they might find people around the ship.

Check out iconcierge. It will help.

Just remember, you can text anyone on the ship or call them if you have your cell phone on. But, it will be $.50 for the text and $2.49 for a call... just like if you were to call back home... even if you are 10 feet from each other.

With the iconcierge app on phones, you can cut that expense.
