ever seen it this low??/

Recommended Posts

The OBC is great, congrats! Me, I'd rather have a price drop if I could choose - I love OBC but it doesn't make the cruise any cheaper and otherwise there's no way I'd spend $700 in onboards...

On the other hand, if I just HAD to take the OBC because otherwise Carnival would never let me on board again...I'd probably live in the spa and buy a massage for my towel animals. :D

We booked an IS using ES/MIL rate. Was able to upgrade to a guarantee balcony, then change rates to another promo with guarantee balcony and $420 obc right before the cruise. We booked the Sunshine again almost a year out using the ES rate again, so hopefully it'll work in our favor again.

Count your blessings guys. I am booked for the Valor in 17 days and have yet to get $1 in OBC. Booked a balcony with Early Saver in Oct. '13 and after seeing the prices hover in the high $700's they have barely come down at all. Now Super Saver rates are at the low $400's but can't price match to that offer since it's a "We (Carnival) pick it" offer and I picked my room. Oh well.... A bigger balcony will have to do instead of OBC.

I've been vacationing with Carnival for seven years and I haven't seen it this low for Florida prices since I started cruising. Our first cruise we paid $129pp (with tax) for a 4 day as part of the old "Twelve Days of Christmas" promotion. Our upcoming Thanksgiving cruise is insanely low. When we booked a few months ago 1A portholes were $409pp--we just nabbed balconies for $439pp.

You can go to the casino and cash out your OBC there on the slot machines.

So, are you booking your cruises under Early Saver to be able to take advantage of these drops? Is there another way? I think we did it wrong this time!

Yes, we always book ES.

Definately not priced that low now! I just looked...be glad if you got that amazing deal..doesn't look like anyone else will!! :p

Not sure what you were looking at--just did a mock booking for the 9/7 breeze--insides are $159 pp and balconies are at $289 for carnival pics your room---these are insane deals. I so wish I could just pack up and go.

I will be looking for my next cruise in jan/feb--i hope these same kind of deals are out there again.

Are there any predictions of hurricanes the next few weeks. That might drop rates.

I am going in weeks on a Carnival Live cruise, didn't pick the cruise because of this. Got the best rate for past guests at $209 pp OV, 8 weeks ago. The rate goes up and down a few dollars but nothing drastically.

Last week they had a Super Saver rate which was same rate as mine but different was I have a guarantee OV assigned before, this rate said your cabin was assigned at check in at pier and that it was not changeable in anyway. Has anyone heard of such a disclaimer.
