we are sailing on the carnival liberty and decided to get married in Ft lauderdale before we sail and have the reception on the boat for sailing and nonsailing guests. I understand carnival doesn't offer shore weddings there. Is there any suggestions or has someone gotten married in ft lauderdale before sailing. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you will be happy if you get married on the ship and have your reception on the ship. What package have you picked? The type of reception and choice of music determines the location of your reception.

well we actually wanted to get married on the beach in ft lauderdale not the ship. We just started our planning. So not too much planned right now. I have emailed "The Wedding Experience" to see what they offer as far as weddings - carnival did recommended them for other areas for weddings.
