6311salt Posted August 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2014 Is the Bermuda web cam working? It will not open for me.
sebas030 Posted August 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2014 It is not working since the night before Hurricane Cristobal passed ( from far away ) Bermuda. They say it is damaged...probably from a lightning strike, and they have to replace many parts and they hope to do it soon ( by next week ) . emmy Posted August 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2014 Posted by PTZtv ~ Lou and David on their Bermuda FB page Missing the views too :( Update: Further investigation has revealed multiple but selective equipment failures consistent with an electrical surge, possibly lightning induced but cause unknown. We will have to replace equipment on site and are planning to do that ASAP next week. You will now see the message below when you visit PortBermudaWebcam.com . Thank you for your patience while we resolve this unusual outage.

jdarch Posted September 4, 2014 #18 Share Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) Beautiful view once again. But it looks like the damage (or the repair tech) left the camera off kilter - the image is not level. My OCD is twitching! sebas030 Posted September 17, 2014 #22 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Hello everyone, Is it just me ( and it might be ) or the image I get is "low" resolution for the past 2 days ? Usually I get a sharp and crisp image...now I get a fuzzy water, palm trees are not sharp, image skips for a fraction of a second... I am wondering if there is a problem on my side...or it's PTZtv ? Thank you all in advance for your help !
meatball_nyc Posted September 17, 2014 #23 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Hi Sebas, I'm looking at it on my work computer and now that you mention it, the image does get blurry every second or two. Then it's seems as if the camera is trying to correct itself and it straightens out. When the shot of the ships and dock first come on, it is very pixilated. But I thought it always did that. Maybe it's the fault of that Aida Luna ship ;) ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day

meatball_nyc Posted September 17, 2014 #25 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Now I'm watching it on my iPad, high bandwidth 4G wifi, and it sucks really bad. That storm and lightning really did a job on the cam. Maybe email PTZtv and see if they can do something. ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day
