kewpie Posted September 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2014 I looked at the website for this cruise line and I don't see anything about the dining in the MDR or seatings (ie first or second). Is this completely anytime dining? Or do you have to pay for specialty restaruants, or eat at the buffet? It is a little confusing.

cruiseguyinorl Posted September 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) There is no anytime dining, its first or second seating in the MDR. For reservations starting September 23, 2014 for sailings starting October 18, 2014 and forward, My Choice dining is available when a Category B3 or S3 is purchased. My Choice dining: "Guests will have access to the dining room at any time during service, including the break between first and second seating (guests will refer to the Daily Program delivered in the stateroom for opening and service time). A dedicated area in the main dining room will be allocated in order to accommodate them." Other amenities will also be available in these categories. We booked the Repo from Genoa to Miami and booked the Yacht Club,,,would pax who are booking in Europe have the ability to book those packages?? THere is the "experience" called Yacht Club so there will be no difference for YC passengers check page 7 of this thread I've postd the info for all 4 experiences there http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2095180&page=7 How they'll manage to mix the US and European booking sytems i'm not sure. Expect the usual MSC cock-ups, but it shouldn't affect the YC as the two systems are essentially the same Pete

Since it is so new to us (about 6 hours lol), I still have a lot of questions. Bret

Is this completely anytime dining? Or do you have to pay for specialty restaruants, or eat at the buffet? It is a little confusing. There is no anytime dining on the Divina at the moment. The future will show. Anytime dining is popular, so Divina cannot remain an exception for long time. MDR (two restaurants - Black Crab and Villa Rossa) offer first and second seating. I prefer Villa Rossa. Black Crab has very closed in feel. There are two specialty restaurants: Galaxy and Eataly (with a small room called Ristorante Italia - separate menu). The buffet is available too, but food quality leaves much to be desired. Edited September 5, 2014 by cruisetrail
Zeta3 Posted September 7, 2014 #15 Share Posted September 7, 2014 Pretty irritated about this "experiences" roll out in the US. It makes no sense to offer something in late September for cruises beginning Oct 18. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
