What time to board Navigator

75 year old Mom is going on Navigator of the Seas tomorrow. Does anyone know the latest time she can board the ship? I just don't want her to be late as she and my brother have a long drive to get to the cruise port. Thanks so much!

She must be checked in and onboard the ship no later than 3pm. It can take a few minutes to check in, so you don't want to cut it that close.

I wouldn't be later than 3pm if I were you, earlier the better. Ship sails at 4.30. Build in time for whatever can go wrong along the way.

Allow at least an extra hour for Houston traffic. We were stuck in a traffic jam once on the way to port. It isn't likely, but happens.

 

Better to leave early and be relaxed in my opinion.

It's very likely to get stuck in a traffic jam; especially on a beautiful weekend day. Once you are south of the loop traffic on 45S can back up until you pass FM 646 exit.
