cruzmom Posted August 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2005 Has anyone been using Priceline and getting good hotel deals? Our last cruise we booked our hotel through Priceline and got The Radisson downtown for $40 a night. That was a year ago. Are we realistic to hope to get that good of a deal again? CruisinDawn Posted August 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2005 You can check out biddingfortravel and see what they are going for. Our last cruise we were up to like $110 and Priceline wouldn't bite so booked the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for close to $100 direct. This was last Feb and there was a Food & Wine Festival going on. You can check the Chamber of Commerce to see if anything is already booked for Jan then go from there on what might work. BonVoyage Dawna

trenz Posted August 16, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2005 About two weeks ago I got the 4 star Hyatt Regency downtown for $80. One night on Oct 6th. Regular price on hotel website was $279. In addition to biddingfortravel also check out www.betterbidding.com. They were a big help to me. Good luck
Rdwhite1999 Posted August 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2005 Just yesterday I got the Hyatt Regency for $75 for one night on 10/1/05 for $75.00 through Priceline. I tried the same search last week and this same bid was rejected so it pays to keep trying.
