clueless wanderer Posted September 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2014 I have all my plans made to sail Sept 21...but since all I was reading about was beach time, I assumed I'd follow suit...just catch a taxi to Carlisle/Boatyard (same place?) and spend a beach day and snorkel out to look for turtles. However, I was just online looking at Barbados info, and I see a place called Hunte's Garden, another flower garden, rainforest and wildlife preserve. Now I am wondering why most of these aren't on the tours...is it the wrong season? Is it too far to drive for a decent price? So I have to choose between beach or the other natural "wonders"? Or is it possible to do both without being rushed? Also seeing wildly different prices on tours...some seem very pricey and some absurdly cheap. Anyone know this island intimately to make suggestions OR recommend a guide? Thanks mbbirdsong@att.net
Philly Steve Posted September 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2014 Love the Boatyard! It's been too long since we've been there. Best to direct your questions to this forum.. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
