How long to wait for a refund from RCI?

I cancelled a cruise on 4 August. I lost my deposit but I'd also paid an additional £647 which RCI said would be refunded back to my credit card. They said it would take a month to process but it's now been 6 weeks. Anyone ever waited this long for a refund?

They are v e r y s l o w with refunds. Email them on a daily basis. Don't know what their problem is. They're quick enough to take our money, but it's hard to believe a billion dollar company doesn't know how to process refunds!

The two times we had to cancel the refund was within 72 hours!

I have cancelled before and received refunds right away. I am in the US - so not sure if that makes a difference.

Cancelled online on a Sunday, refund hit my credit card on Friday. As others say, call daily and ask to speak to a supervisor until you see our money.

Thanks guys, will definitely get on the phone to them tomorrow. RCI definitely don't make it easy for us here in the UK.

We cancelled a cruise a few weeks ago, got the refund within 72 hours.

In the past, whenever we cancelled it was refunded within 72 hours. We just cancelled one a week ago and it still hasn't been refunded. If it doesn't show by next week, I'll begin my daily follow up.
