Hi cruisers! Our countdown is in the teens now..yeah! But I have a question re: Bernard's tours in St. Maarten.

 

We booked a private tour and paid the deposit via paypal.

Does anyone have any advice on how to pay the balance? Do you recommend CC or cold hard cash?

It sounds like a company where you would be safe either way. I personally like to pay in cash (but then I cruise alone so that means carrying less cash on me).

We love Bernard's, and paid at the pier with cc, no problems. Our driver was willing to accommodate a extra stop for local shopping. Fun. Paul

You could pay the balance either way.

What difference does it really make? they are happy anyway you pay. If you don't want to use cash, then use a CC. if you want to pay in cash, do so.

 

I really don't understand the point of the question? Bernard's couldn't care less.

If you pay cash you just need to have enough for a tip, shopping at the stops and maybe lunch and drinks a Maho Beach. If you pay by CC you will have it on your bill when you get home.

 

We enjoyed our all day tour last year.:) Enjoy.
