Trying to plan our family cruise on Breakaway to Bermuda. Does anyone have copies of the FreeStyle Daily for the week? I think it would help me plan dinners and shows for a big family. Thank you so much!!

Hi,

We just came home from the 9/14 to 9/21 cruise. I'll be writing up a review, but in the meantime I can tell you some things that might be useful to you.

I came home with the Day 6 and Day 7 dailies.

The first page of the Freestyle Daily lists "tonight's entertainment". Depending on the day of the week that changes. However on our cruise, Burn The Floor which for our money (it was free!) was the best show on the ship (we saw it twice) appeared on three different evenings that were not consecutive, and on the first two evenings they did an early show (7pm) and a late show (9pm) and on the last evening (Sat) they performed at 7pm.

Now the times and days for each of the shows might be different for your particular cruise. But when you book the cruise you can go on line at ncl.com and sign in. You can then prebook just about everything for the days and times that you like before you get on the ship. You can also do a printout of that once you have paid for the entertainment and any excursions you'd like to go on. The same holds true for any of the restaurants that have a fee.

The first page of the daily also has a list of what is going on during the day and evening on all of the public decks ( 6,7,8, 15,16). The first page also tells you what day it is (some people forget after running up a bar tab), what the weather is, what time sunrise and sunset are, and where music can be found on the different decks.

The second page lists various classes (dance, how to fold napkins properly, how to make pizza), atrium activities ( Jeopardy, Bingo etc), and when the aqua park is open. The second page also tells you the Bar Manageer's specials for the day and the price ( don't forget that "free souvenir glass").

Then the third page is a list of things you can buy - Photographs, Prints, Paintings, Watches, Jewelry, etc. Page four lists Spa packages, what time the Casino opens ( it is open while the ship is docked in Bermuda btw -times are listed), Page 5 tells you when the Art Auctions are and where to get shore excursions booked (if you didn't pre-book them)

The inside back page lists by the hour and half hour what time all of the activities are occurring and what the venue is. I noticed a lot of folks just tear this out and fold it up and carry it around the ship.

The outside back page (the same tearout page) lists all the dining options and times at which the various restaurants on board are open; what time all the different bars are open. With 15 bars you are never more than a few feet from a drink!; and if you are too lazy or full to walk to one, there is also a barhop circulating to ask you if you'd like something.

If you'd like more specifics, post another question here and I'll be happy to answer it.
