Destiny in dry dock??? Who can confirm???

Have read a handful of Destiny reviews - seasoned cruiser but first time on Destiny. Usually do ships that are less than 1 year old so the Destiny has our group a little concerned! I have read in some reviews that Destiny is going into dry dock in september. Anyone know how to confirm and how to find out the extent of refurb? Group of 29 booked for Feb 12-16 '06.

My SIL was looking inot the Destiny for Sept. 11th and was told that the Destiny's last cruise is Sept. 4th and then she goes into Dry Dock for 3 weeks

 

and her next cruise is Oct.2nd .. If I remember correctly...

 

I have not heard if it is just mechanical or

mechanical and interior...

You are quite correct about the dates. I believe they'll be adding club 02 for the teens and some new bedding. As far as what else it's anyones guess. Look what Royal Caribbean did to the Soverign of the Seas in 3 weeks.
