cruisers14 Posted August 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2005 Have read a handful of Destiny reviews - seasoned cruiser but first time on Destiny. Usually do ships that are less than 1 year old so the Destiny has our group a little concerned! I have read in some reviews that Destiny is going into dry dock in september. Anyone know how to confirm and how to find out the extent of refurb? Group of 29 booked for Feb 12-16 '06.
mc'smom Posted August 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2005 My SIL was looking inot the Destiny for Sept. 11th and was told that the Destiny's last cruise is Sept. 4th and then she goes into Dry Dock for 3 weeks and her next cruise is Oct.2nd .. If I remember correctly... I have not heard if it is just mechanical or mechanical and interior... I am sure someone will come along and answer this better for you

As far as what else it's anyones guess. Look what Royal Caribbean did to the Soverign of the Seas in 3 weeks. Bill
