mngolfer Posted September 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Has anyone done this excursion. Wondering what it is like for a 10 year old as well as adults. Thank you in advance for any help!

Call_me_ishmael Posted September 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2014 Do you mean this excursion: www.lordsheffield.com ? I've been on it a number of times, and it is fine for kids. It isn't a "booze cruise" by any means.
TNIris Posted September 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Did you book this online? Or call them?
SeaWatcher65 Posted September 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) I contacted them by email from their web site. Cruises during the day are usually at 9am and 1pm for 3 hours each. They provide drinks and cook BBQ chicken and ribs on the ship. There's one snorkel/swim stop. Sounds good... I'd like to read more reviews because there are some ship excursions that do that and a stop by Maho beach. Looks like a fun ship though. Call_me_ishmael Posted September 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) There's a bunch (> 100) of reviews on TripAdvisor at: http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review-g147347-d2138916-Reviews-Lord_Sheffield_Tall_Ship_Adventures-Philipsburg_Sint_Maarten_St_Maarten_St_Martin.html As far as Maho goes, if the weather is right they often go there, just email them to find out what the itinerary is these days. Meekofigaro Posted October 2, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 2, 2014 We love lord Sheffield's! We have done two excursions with them when we have had land vacations in St Maarten. They are a great crew! Great for all ages... Good food and also they have great drinks! But no one got out of control. A sunset from the front of the ship! Watching planes land at Maho beach from Mullet beach on the ship. Kerry Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
