Good evening to all

This is my first attempt of a *Live @* report.

I am currently on the Vision of the Seas 9/20 cruise to Key West and Grand Cayman. I got the full internet plan for the first time in my cruising career. I thought that the price was not bad at $95.95 for the 5 days for 24 hours access. As Diamond I do receive $29.95 off this package.

Today was a day at sea as we make our way to Grand Cayman. Today I relaxed most of the day, while I checked my e-mail an attended 3 events this afternoon.

I lost in the first round of table tennis. After that I viewed the belly flop contest. Then I participated in the Pool Volleyball Tournament and I actually helped my team to a gold medal finish.

After that I went to the Diamond Lounge which was very busy during the happy hour. This evening I went to the Motown event in the theater. This was a great show, Then I went to the Casino for the raffle draw and did not win again. Saw the Casino host that was on Enchantment back in March.

Finally this evening I went to the Schooner bar and saw an former bar tender friend that I have not seen since my Freedom cruise back in 2011.

Well that is all from this evening from the Vision. Have a great evening and see everyone tomorrow at Grand Cayman.

Good Morning everyone from the my room in on the Vision.

Today we are in Georgetown Grand Cayman. Today I plan on just exploring the port once I get down with breakfast.

In terms of breakfast I have ate in the MDR during this cruise. There is a special area and entrance for Diamonds and above for breakfast. So far breakfast have been great in the MDR, nice not having to fight the other guests for food in the Windjammer.

Now while I am on food I must mention my dinners while on board. Since I am cruising single and did not pack any slacks I decided that the first night was for Chops since dress code is laxed the first day. After that I usually go to the Windjammer for dinner. Last night was Stirfry night. I chose my ingredients from the bar then chose chicken and beef and rice and the staff cooks it and delivers it table-side. What a great dinner last night.

For those that are wondering about the Internet on the Vision here is my thoughts.

This is the first time that I have actually got any internet package. I wanted to get this to test what I could do in preparation of my 17 day cruise in a few months.

This ship does have Wi-Fi to all areas around the ship. My main office is the stateroom which is an interior on deck 3 near centrum area of the ship. The signal here looks to be strong. However I have not attempted photobucket yet to get pics posted. I may try that on Wednesday which is a day at sea to get back to FLL.

Well I am off to Breakfast and then on to Grand Cayman. See everyone later.

No special area that you have mentioned at least of what I have seen. The do have a special entrance into the MDR for breakfast for Diamond and above on deck 4. I will try and take a look tomorrow when I get up.

I think that I have seen that area on the Freedom Class though.

Had an enjoyable day here in Grand Cayman. This morning after I left you I went into town and walked around and had a beer before I came back. Then I went to lunch in the windjammer and relaxed a little before returning to my room. Today started a bit cloudy then the clouds went away and it turned super hot today.

With the Vision we did have to turn the clocks back on hour to be on GC time. This evening guess what we change them foreward 1 hour to get back to EST.

Also they operated with a tender ticket operation to control rush hour for the tenders. This seemed to work well. They only used one door to exit onto the tender unlike when the larger ships use 2 points to exit.

Well I am taking a nap to get ready for this evening of watching the guest entertainer, followed by the 70's Disco Party, then if I am not to tired the late night comedy show.

I'm enjoying your review. We'll be on Vision soon and be at both of those ports on our B2B. Do you know if there is a place on Vision for late night pizza. Someone on our roll call was wondering about this.

Park Cafe and room service.

Good evening to all from the Vision,

This is a good evening so far. I took Silver in the Cannon Ball Challenge on the pool deck then went to the Diamond lounge for a few drinks before dinner. I once again had dinner in the Windjammer, I had some fajitas and some other beef, some mashed potatoes and cobbler for dessert.

After that I went back to the diamond lounge and the server had my drink ready for me as I entered, stayed there a few before the Top Tier event of the evening in the lounge next door. This was an okay event as it was topped of by the captain singing as song. There was lots of Pinnacles on board this week.

Well next up is the 70's Disco Inferno, I plan to take pics and video as well..

Thanks for your review.

We will be on board Vision in March for a 7 Day Western. We are taking our grown children on their first cruise. (ages 27,29,31). Do you think their will be enough activities for them to see and do on the ship?

Also, can you tell me if there is a Freestyle soda machine on Vision?

Thanks again.

Good afternoon everyone from the Vision,

Currently we are North of Cuba sailing at 18.3 knots. Great day overall today.

Internet is slow today because everyone is using it.

Well today has been busy already. Breakfast then went to Meet the Stars event in the Theater. After that I took some pics of the walk for wishes event on deck 10. Finally this morning lost in the 1st round of table tennis again.

This afternoon I will be playing in the guest vs Crew member challenge then going to the BJ Tourney this afternoon. Well till later on tonight have a great day from the Vision.

Can you tell me if the drink vouchers for Diamond Lounge drinks were loaded on your card to be used in other bars around the ship.?

Yes I did have my free drinks loaded on my card each day. All you have to do is order a drink at the bar (Same drinks as in the DL), they will swipe your card just to deduct your freebies off your card.

Well good evening to everyone from the Vision.

Sad to say this will be my last post till I get home tomorrow. This afternoon was a busy one as I went and participated in the guest vs crew pool volleyball game. Our team from the other teamed up again today and beat the crew 15-9. After that I went and played in the Black Jack Tournament and unfortunately did not advance to the final table today. Hopefully next cruise. Then it was off to the DL for my daily drink and meeting with all my new friends.

Went to Dinner again at WJ and then finally the last show in the theater which was a great production show. Instead of having the farewell song they did the Parade of Nations in the Centrum which was a great show.

Well I am off to pack and get some sleep for tomorrow. The morning will be here before you know it. Tomorrow after I leave I will be heading home while stopping by the Honigs facility here in FLL to get some Umpire gear.

Have a great evening everyone, I will work on posting pics when I get home.
