back massage...which one?

With all cruises I have been on, I have never experienced a back massage. There are several choices and I am wondering what is your favorite and why.

Well, in my opinion, it's all GOOD!

On the day you board the ship, do a spa tour and ask questions. Hopefully something will stick out in your mind and you will try that. I usually go for a basic Swedish massage - works out the kinks and makes you feel great. A spa facial is also a wonderful treat.

On the past two cruises, I've bought a package. I've had the well-being massage, the hot stones massage, the four handed massage and the japanese silk facial massage.
I think that may favorite is everything but the well-being massage. Because I'm usually so tense when I board, working out the kinks hurts some but in the end feels good. I just like the relaxation of the massages.
Whichever you have, I'm sure that you will enjoy it.

I'd go for the hot stone massage too. On the last cruise I was so knotted up that I couldn't raise one arm even up to shoulder level - by the time I left I had full range of motion in the arm. We're back on Connie this summer and I will be sure to book early.

Anita,

My husband and I both love the hot stone massages. We also had a couples massage on our balcony. At first the spa said it is only recommended for suites because the rooms and balconies are bigger. We assured them the aft cabin we had was bigger then most suite balconies. It was great and the view was spectacular.

Hot Stone, I got it on a special for $99 and it came with a mini facial which was very good, too. If you are on a cruise that ports at Costa Maya my freind got the massage advertised there by the pool. I think it was $35 for 45 minutes and he said it was better than any he had had on the ship and he enjoyed being on the beach with the sea air and the waves. I'm going to try that next time I go there.

Until the Zenith! Second X Cruise In Two Months!

Okay, I know you've already decided on stone, which I heartily endorse. However, just today I had my first reflexology message (focuses on different points of the hands and feet) and that was wonderful. I'm not sure the boats have them tho. Stone massage is always a treat!

Enjoy!

I agree with the hot stones massage. I tried it early in the last cruise, and went back for another one later.

I know that the Galaxy offered reflexology, at least they did last September. That is wonderful as well.

Enjoy.
