Non-cruise vistor to ship

I am getting married aboard the Inspiration in Tampa in December. I have several guest attending the ceremony but not the cruise itself. Anyone (hopefully a Tampa native) have any suggestion to where these guests can park for the few hours they will be on the ship. I hate to ask them to pay the high parking fee or a taxi ride.

 

Someone metioned in a previous post that there is public transporation that comes close to the cruise terminal. Does anyone have any ideas.

 

I appreciate any help I can get with this subject.

There is parking in the Channelside area right near the cruise terminal. They have a garage there where you can park "by the hour". Even if you took public transportation to the terminal you would have to park somewhere else and pay. Congrats

Wedding are performed before sailing & guests are escorted off after the wedding.

It's only $2 per hour to park in the "short term" garage at Channelside. It maxes out at $14. If they're lucky, they may find a spot on the street around the garage, where they can park for free.

 

The Channelside garage is right across the street from the cruise terminal.
