CarolRoy Posted September 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Interested in Tiki Beach. Carnival has an excursion there and we would like to avoid that area. We usually go to Cemetary Beach. Have been to Royal Palms and thought we could walk pass Tiki Beach to check it out.
drew sailbum Posted September 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2014 These aren't really all that close together. Cemetery Beach is the farthest north at 2213 West Bay Rd. Tiki Beach is next closest at 1625 West Bay Rd. Royal Palms is farthest south at 537 West Bay Rd. It's 500 addresses per mile in Cayman so.... that is barely over a mile from Cemetery Beach to Tiki Beach; and it is barely over two miles from Tiki Beach to Royal Palms. OCruisers Posted September 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the information, Drew! We normally go to Calico Jack's at Seagrape. Wondering if any of you on CC have been to Tiki? LuLu Edited September 26, 2014 by OCruisers
CarolRoy Posted September 26, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Drew: Thanks for the info. We have already walked from Cemetery Beach back to the ship. It was long and hot. Last time we were dropped off by local bus at the local Governor's Beach and ended walking up to Avalon Condos. It was pretty there but a local condo owner made sure we did not go pass the water mark from the ocean. A real jerk. Any beach on this 7-mile (not really 7 miles) is the best the Caribbean has to offer.
Tommy.Lee_1 Posted September 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2014 try calico beach… it borders on the public beach. loads of beach chair renters - so you won’t get gouged on price. kids have playground. prices are reasonable - staff are too cool. quality of beach is great. rest rooms are decent.
