HELP!!!!!! I just booked the Best Western Marina Inn

Ok, I know better, but I booked the Best Western Marina Inn before checking these boards. Now I'm HORRIFIED at all the reviews on this place!!!!

 

Can someone suggest a hotel that offers shuttle services from the airport and the pier for a nominal price? (or better yet, free, like Best Western) The price and conveniences are what sold me on this hotel. We're going to be there New Year's Eve (pre-cruise) and I don't think I want to spend it at this hotel. I plan on "Eating" my deposit for making a bad choice.

 

So, please help me with some choices, my head hurts from looking at all these hotels and not knowing what I'm looking at and trying to find shuttles, etc. Also, if anyone knows some place cool to go for New Year's Eve, share that too!

Yes, by all means cancel that dump! Don't get hung up on shuttles though, the SE 17th Street area is less than 10 minutes from the airport and just outside the entrance to Port Everglades. Taxis are inexpensive & plentiful. Many hotels are now charging for, or discontinuing their shuttles.

No problem, that's a MUCH better choice, you'll be very happy you switched... There are also many MANY shops and restaurants you can easily walk to from the Holiday Inn Express.

The Best Western isn't that bad . We stayed last year and the itching has almost stopped now.:eek:
