flip side of fifty Posted September 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2014 I know that Princess is very good at their strategy in filling cabins - by flash sales, and I realize that very few cruises are not fully booked. However, has anyone ever had any luck contacting a Princess Travel Consultant, making an offer to take a b2b or even a b2b2b cruise and received a lower rate than advertised on line? I am not talking about a 2 for 1, just a reduced rate for the second 7 day portion, or suggesting paying the rate offered and receiving OBC in a greater amount than listed on their website? For over a month I have been looking at a cruise that is now 2 months out. This cruise has had very little activity in booked rooms during this period. The cruises before and after are not that bad - but they are still holding a lot of empty cabins too. Just thought I would ask the pros here before I went and embarrass myself.:o:o Thank you for your assistance.
eandj Posted September 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Sure you can ask. No harm. You might want to get quotes from a couple large online agencies too. They often will surprise you.;)
