Any chance of seeing whales on a coastal at the end on January?

You may see gray whales on their winter coastal migration. Along Oregon Coast Highway 101 overlooks and viewpoints can be good spots for December and January viewing. Trained volunteers set up whale spotting stations and will share spotting scopes and whale information with the public. Gray whales are not as easily spotted from a cruise ship as the more dramatically colored orcas.
