ahecht Posted October 14, 2014 #26 Share Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Would anyone with a PDF of the new luggage tags with barcodes mind sharing the file with me so that I can update my luggage tag rearranger program? You can send me a message at http://email.ahecht.com and I'll let you know how to send me the file. Edited October 14, 2014 by ahecht
cruiseonly Posted October 15, 2014 #27 Share Posted October 15, 2014 this time we are flying in the same day as the cruise sails. When should we put on the cruise line luggage tags. Before the flight, or after we pick up our luggage at Newark Airport. I was thinking to put them on after our flight lands. Airlines really throw the luggage around, and I thought they might tear off.. Thanks.
EmTeeNesters Posted October 15, 2014 #28 Share Posted October 15, 2014 Always AFTER.... for the reasons you stated this time we are flying in the same day as the cruise sails. derf5585 Posted October 15, 2014 #29 Share Posted October 15, 2014 Airlines really throw the luggage around, and I thought they might tear off.. Thanks. What I do is print the luggage tags on photo paper. Very sturdy.

HiCSailor Posted October 17, 2014 #31 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Good idea, thank you. Another option is to "laminate" the paper tags with clear packing tape. A U-toober has posted a tutorial entitled "How To Make Cruise Line Luggage Tags" that goes into greater depth. :):D:rolleyes::eek:
