JimAOk1945 Posted September 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2014 We were on the Ecstasy several years ago for a Christmas cruise. There were a few decorations here and there but not as many as we have seen on other cruise lines.

donandmelissa Posted September 29, 2014 #12 Share Posted September 29, 2014 We have sailed every Christmas for the last 4 years. Carnival does decorate but if you are expecting a full out, White Christmas Winter Wonderland, you will likely be disappointed. Lots of passengers will decorate their cabin doors though. John1928 Posted September 29, 2014 #17 Share Posted September 29, 2014 This is awesome news. I can't wait! I hope it snows in the atrium! My kids will flip! I'll let them see it in my driveway for half of what you're paying for the cruise. I'll even let them shovel for no additional cost. ;) We've been on ships three times in the last few holiday seasons. Some decorations in the atrium and a few other places, but as others have said it's not particularly extravagant. On par with the food court at a local mall give or take. SadieN Posted September 29, 2014 #20 Share Posted September 29, 2014 Really like the Paradise Atrium at the holidays. Finally the Eggs have something to 'Go With'. For those who go over Chanukah- there will be a Menorah. Mom liked the tradition of arguing which way to start lighting (ok twisting) the candles. Just like home :D Just wish the latkes weren't so soggy. =[

Just like home :D Just wish the latkes weren't so soggy. =[ And wished they didn't taste like wallpaper paste.:D At least they served Manischewitz and bread that was supposed to be challah.:D On the Splendor a few years ago, there was also a gingerbread village on the upper level of the Atrium. Sent from my iPad using Forums In the past when I've cruised NYE or New Years Day, the decorations have still been up...so I would say probably.
