TrekkerPA Posted September 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2014 Our family of 6 will be docking in Old San Juan on the Norwegian Pearl in January. We're trying to find the best tour operator to take us to "off the beaten path," less crowded places of the rainforest (but yet not too rugged), and for someone with the best local knowledge and ability to show us the best and most beautiful and unique aspects of PR. Have checked lots of information on TA and on websites, and we're currently torn between using Roberto of Sunset Tours, Eliot of Eliot Tours, Albert Aguirre (Surfcabs), or Natural Wonders. Also thinking about Javier R. from Tours by Locals. We'd like someone who will be flexible, interesting, and show us both natural beauty and also some other PR sights and orientation to OSJ, all in maybe a 5-6 hour tour. Has anyone done tours with more than one of these, and can anyone recommend one of these tour operators over another?
Blondie70 Posted October 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2014 I'll be watching this post for some great advice? It will be our first trip to PR too, so very curious what folks do with the timeframe in port being later than usual. Thanks for the question!
