Rare alrichards4003 Posted October 7, 2014 Author #76 Share Posted October 7, 2014 On the bus ride back the driver recommended Annabelles for lunch. We walked around the various stores and then went to lunch at Annabelles image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr We ordered crab dip which we did not get but were not charged for, but did not need especially since we had an early dinner at Cagneys. We each got a crabcake sandwich (mine with cheese). The crabcakes were very good. image by alrichards4003, on Flickr Lunch was good, but not cheap. Rare alrichards4003 Posted October 8, 2014 Author #78 Share Posted October 8, 2014 My husband kept insisting when we got on the ship, I remember this etc. I told his he did not remember it since we had not been on the Pearl before , but that the Jewel was so similar. One thing that was different was the bowling alley. I had gone bowling on the Epic, but he had not. We went bowling and were the only ones in there. image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr We went to have a drink on the lido deck and it was so warm, some people were sunbathing. image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr

NewEnglandNANA Posted October 8, 2014 #80 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Thanks for posting . Love your dh's t shirt sayings! We go in May so this is fantastic and you did the spa that answers a lot of questions for me. Great pics!
Rare alrichards4003 Posted October 8, 2014 Author #81 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Thanks for posting . Love your dh's t shirt sayings! We go in May so this is fantastic and you did the spa that answers a lot of questions for me. Great pics! Thanks. He loves his t-shirts. I always get the spa pass, but on certain cruises I think it makes more sense, more sea days or in the case of Alaska where you can't normally use the pool and the hot tubs are not always that hot and not that much room for 3,000 people. Sometimes I would go in the spa at 5 or 6 and be the only person in there.

Rare alrichards4003 Posted October 8, 2014 Author #83 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Oreo Cheesecake image by alrichards4003, on Flickr I like the new menu at Cagney's the cheesecake was great and I did not care for the desserts before. The sides are also great, mac and cheese was good but creamed corn was great. Went to late show of What a Night, the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons show. Very entertaining, but none of the other shows interested me, but this one was good. image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr Afterwards went to late night comedy image by alrichards4003, on Flickr Back to towel animal on my side of the bed image by alrichards4003, on Flickr Ordered a veggie pizza at 11:55, they said 45-50 minutes and it was 50 minutes, but good image by alrichards4003, on Flickr End of Day
Rare alrichards4003 Posted October 8, 2014 Author #84 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Oh no, the last day, where did the time go, the day I try to fit in as much as possible and pack. Breakfast at Blue Lagoon, and could hear future cruise talk in atrium at the same time. French Toast with sausage and hash browns image by alrichards4003, on Flickr I then went to the final art auction. DH wanted chinese, so we went to noodle and sushi bar for lunch. I checked in for our flights online, and we tried to log in to fantasy football, but had problems, I never had a problem with the wi-fi the rest of the week. Service was very slow in restaurant, we got there at 1 and planned on going to deal or no deal at 2, but we did not finish until 2:15, we had the internet to keep us busy. Ontario cruise duo Posted October 9, 2014 #85 Share Posted October 9, 2014 I must admit, when I saw your title caption I thought that there would be more photos of Alaska and it's beautiful scenery as opposed to pictures of the ship and food/drinks. Rare alrichards4003 Posted October 11, 2014 Author #89 Share Posted October 11, 2014 We went to the art gallery, I bid on a mystery during the art auction and won 2 raffles, so we picked our pictures and made the arrangements, then it was time for dinner at my favorite NCL restaurant Le Bistro image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr French martini. Pamster Posted October 12, 2014 #91 Share Posted October 12, 2014 What a great review - we did Alaska on the Pearl our second cruise and loved it. Really enjoyed seeing the ship and the scenery again. We have yet to see a bald eagle - and we've done 3 cruises (4 weeks). Haven't had any luck with the whales, either, so count yourself very fortunate that you saw so many. I thought the balance of Alaska pics and pictures of the ships was just right. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this - I know it takes a lot of time to go through all your pics, upload, and post them for us to enjoy

We were lucky with the weather and seeing the bald eagles and whales. I like to read people's reviews and sometimes I am looking at the ship, and other times the ports. I can only do reviews the way I do them, I take pictures of the memories we created, and that is of various things, it can be the ports, dinner or bowling or the spa.
