The beer smelling clothes the whole cruise??? Last I checked each ship had laundry services and facilities. [emoji4]

Going off topic here but some of us do not want our clothes laundered on the ship. Don't want my clothes laundered in hot water and folded when still hot.

The self service laundry has cold water settings.

Lol......I guess I was thinking about the innocent people who had their clothes soaked by someone's alcohol and getting their clothes laundered for free by the ship.

Having to do your own laundry on the ship would be a real punishment for innocent people....:(

I would still smell it. Also, why should I pay to have my laundry done on the first day of the cruise because some alcoholic had to sneak his/her fix?

First, I like how you bring up a non related topic. Topic is about cary ons. If someone put their alcohol in their carry on how would it get on anyone elses clothes?

Second, just because someone drinks or tries to smuggle on some alcohol doesn't mean they are alcoholics. Do you not know what alcoholism is? Get off your prude high horse and stay on topic!

You could always pay the 50.00 and sign up for FTTF.

Great idea, only drawback is that FTTF gets sold out very quickly & it might not be available.

FYI. Probably similar rules for other ports as well.

Hmmm... I wonder how old that site is. I see that it talks about the Fountain Fun Card. The soft drink package is now called Bottomless Bubbles. This site is not a Carnival site. Interestingly, I found the information in 2 different sections of Carnivals site. One place said carryon items are restricted to 16" H X 12"W X 30"L.The other place said 16"H X 24"W (no length restrictions). Hmmm... So I called Carnival to clear it up. The restriction is 16"H X 24"W (no length restrictions). There is also a "suggested" restriction for checked items. However, that is only suggested & not mandatory.

That being said, there is not a limit the the number of items you carry on as long as they don't go over the size restriction.

Last cruise got to port early didnt see any porters so lcarried our 30' duffel onto ship ourselves. Best way not to have them destroy luggage.

Not sure if we will make a habit of this though.

That's a very long duffel

LOL, I didn't catch that typo. Can you just picture someone bringing on a 30 foot item? Hey it's allowable as long as it doesn't exceed the height & width restrictions. I was picturing that episode of I Love Lucy where she was baking bread & this huuuugely long loaf came out of the oven.
