Options for bad weather or rainy day in Nassau?

We are on a weekend cruise to the Bahamas (Nassau), and I was prepared for just a beach day. Now that it's raining at my house, I'm wondering what may happen if it rains in the Bahamas while we are in port. It's our only port besides the private island, so we really want to get off the ship. Are there any "rainy weather" or "too cold for the beach" options? I have an almost two year old, as well as my mom who has trouble walking long distances. I know the chocolate place is closed since we arrive on a Sunday. Any advice or options for me to look at? Does Atlantis have an enclosed area to tour? I'm not sure what our options are but I would like to have a backup plan incase. Thanks!
