A couple years ago I cruised just 6 months after knee replacement. When the ship was in port, I had no problem in the shower. But when we were moving, I had a hard time standing. So I went down to the ladies locker room and showered there. The larger size made it easier to keep my balance.

 

As ex techie listed, its available for all to use so go for it. Just walk right in, you don't have to ask anyone to use it.
