Which dock? Water Island ferry!

My husband and I will be in St. Thomas in a few weeks and according to a cruise ship schedule I found, we will be docking at the WICO dock. We are planning on taking the ferry to Water Island for the day that leaves from an area close to the Crown Bay dock. Does anyone know how close these are to each other? I am thinking the easiest thing will be to get a cab over to Crown Bay and then go from there!

The Water Island ferry is walking distance from the Crown Bay cruise ship facility; from WICO you'll need a taxi, about 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic.
