Looking for info regarding Regal or Royal M429 or M428

Just booked Regal Princess M429, Caribbean cruise this year to St. Thomas and St. Martin.

 

Has anyone stayed in either cabin M429 or M428 on the Regal or Royal Princess? I was going after a bigger balcony.

 

How noisy is it? Does it get any sun at all? Am I making a big mistake? :rolleyes:

 

Anything you can share about these cabins would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about noise, but I believe M429 is right under the Sea Walk. People will be able to see into your balcony if they are on it. We were in B410 (which also has a bigger balcony) on the Royal this past spring. It was a nice cabin under the SeaView bar which didn't seem to be an issue privacy-wise.

 

Also, there are no mid-ship stairs, so you will have to take an elevator or go forward or aft if you want to take the stairs to go up to the Lido deck.

I wouldn't choose 429 that high. I wouldn't want people that close staring down on me having my morning coffee.:eek: Anything open with extended balconies on a lower floor?

We were in Aloha 429 on the new Royal Princess. I loved the room, and it was one of the large angled balconies. This is a very nice room. You will love it!
