Billym1507 Posted August 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2005 I am going on the QM2 for X-Mas & New year, leaving New York on the 20th of Dec and returning on the 4th of Jan. This is only my 2nd cruise and 1st at this time of year. Has anyone else done this and is it as good as it sounds. It would be great to hear from anyone as I am new to cruising. Thanks. Billy. Hi I go away at xmas and new year from the UK. Not on QM2 unfortunately, but to the caribbean on P & O. Let me just put it this way. Xmas and new year at home would be a nightmare!!!!!! If I had to choose between a summer cruise and an Xmas cruise, Xmas would win hands down everytime!! I can't think of anywhere better to spend this time of year than in the caribbean. And I assume that this is where the QM2 is headed?? Elaine
