Brenda33 Posted August 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Hoping to get some feedback on the Camp Carnival experience for 3 year olds. Is there much to do for the little ones or is it more like a babysitting experience? How are the counselors? Is Camp Carnival available for "child dining"? Thanks for any info you may have.:)
dms_cruisers04 Posted August 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Brenda, DD, now 5, has enjoyed CampCarnival both times she's gone. There are toys for the kids to play with, they do different activities throughout the cruise and even have family activites like the ice cream social. They do have dining with the Camp, although DD didn't partake. Wanted to dine with us because there never seemed to be any of the girls she had made friends with dining with the Camp. The only thing DD didn't like was the after 10 paid service time. They wanted the kids to sit/lay down and watch a movie, and of course she wanted to play. The counselors were great. Swice Posted August 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Our 3 1/2 year old loved it on the Spirit a year and a half ago. He turned five two weeks ago and still has vivid memories of it... that's why we're going on Carnival (Valor) next week. Just last night, out of the blue, he mentioned seeing "funship freddie" in a theater (he was talking about the welcome aboard introduction). You child will enjoy-- trust us!
