Verizon Gift Cards

I was wondering if you plan on using these gift cards for your online purchases do you still need to put either a cash deposit or your credit card when you board the cruise. I have almost $1,000. in the gift cards and don't expect to go over that for our 8 day cruise. Our gratuities and shore excursions have all been paid for.

Thanks for any input.

You will not be able to charge anything on the ship until you either have a cash deposit or a credit card on file for the trip. You do have the option to go with your verizon gift cards to the desk and have them put them on the account for you the first day but expect lines.

I took the easy route. I created my S&S online with a credit card then went down before the last full day and applied Verizon cards for the full balance I calculated I would owe. I had another couple of cards ready incase DW found a sale or spa deal she couldn't pass up. I didn't have to stand in line on the last day and Carnival ended up billing my credit card $.79.
