Room category?

How do you tell what category a price is for? When I do a mock booking, it just shows room available, not the category? Do I have to call to get the category?

If you are doing a "mock" booking, then you are choosing the "kind" of cabin (i.e., inside, OV, balcony etc)which takes you to a page listing the different catagories within that cabin type....such as "balcony" 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D etc and the pricing for each.....that is the cabin "catagory". Is this what you mean??

On your booking confirmation email, it states what "Category" you are booked in on the first page of the email.

If you look at deck plans the cabin category is listed.

I believe that is the designation for a balcony guarantee booking, where Carnival assigns the balcony cabin rather than you selecting your specific cabin.
