Upgrades

We are taking a 5 day cruise on the Elation leaving 10/18. Previously there were no suites available. A few days ago a couple of suites became available. We called and they told us the upgrade would be $1300 (full price). We are currently in an ocean view. The agent told us to call back a couple days before the cruise to see if we could get a deal.

 

Do they usually give upgrade deals closer to the cruise if anything is left?

I have been watching the same cruise that leaves today and as of yesterday they still had suites available but the price was even higher on the website.

They have a dept that would call passengers to offer deals. Keep watching the website and perhaps price will come down.
