Galleon1234 Posted October 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2014 I was on Carnival and was able to log into the Carnival website onboard on my tablet and leave messages for my family at home. It was a public forum but we still communicated that way. Does Norwegian have that or any other way other than other than buying an email package? Thanks
Bonnie&Jim Posted October 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2014 Not really an email package, but you can buy data to reply back to home.
garycarla Posted October 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2014 No public message board or similar deal. You can buy an internet access package and use their computers. You can pay per minute without a package. You can text from your phone. Most carriers are $.50 out, and little or no charge in. You can also email when in port if you can find a business with free wifi. Many places have cheap wifi that you can email from. you can also make phone calls onboard using your cell phone at $2.49 a minute.
Coastalbreezes Posted October 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2014 I purchased a package for $39 and was able to read and send emails daily from the internet cafe and still had minutes left at the end of the cruise. It's much less expensive than the old plans and I found it to be quicker connecting. Tracy
