Gerry P Posted October 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2014 What kind of slots does the casino on the Breakaway? Like denominations. I live close to Atlantic City and love the penny slots.

SRUMom66 Posted October 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2014 The Breakaway had more penny slots than I thought they would. It was crowded in the casino some of the time but you could still find machines available.

N747KT Posted October 24, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 24, 2014 It's funny how penny slots make it feel like your spending less money, even though the payback is way less than a dollar of five dollar slot machine. clcjdn Posted October 24, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 24, 2014 The real trick the casino has on the penny slots is the fact that you win partial amounts....in the old days on a 2 coin dollar reel slot you either won $2 or something more (although some has $1 winners). Now with these video slots, you bet something like $2.50 and frequently have wins of <$1.00, so it "seems" like you might be winning more, but really still just depends on the machine....... Rare aubreyc1988 Posted October 24, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 24, 2014 I was on the getaway and there were quite a few, so I am sure there will be on the Breakaway. I played penny slots a bit, I don't gamble to win big, and I usually never spend more than 50.00 whole cruise. My fav penny slot was the Mariachi one, that has a good bonus game. Between me and my husband, we came out 120.00 ahead at the end of the cruise, had a good time socializing with our friends. Could we have won more paying a higher bet? Sure! I had a friend on the cruise who won over 2,000 on slots. But I like the penny ones, would rather play longer on it! :D
landlady1952 Posted October 24, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Buffalo Wild on Breakaway. Penny machine. Did quite well. Also $1 quick hits paid out 3 jackpots when we were on in July. Good luck
Coastalbreezes Posted November 3, 2014 #10 Share Posted November 3, 2014 There are 1 and 2 cent slots, dollar slots and a small high roller are in a corner with slots from $5 to $25. Very few quarter slots that I saw. My favorite are the Quick Hits and there are many. Tracy

TYSONBOXER Posted January 20, 2015 #12 Share Posted January 20, 2015 If you don't know what Quick Hits slots are, then you are not really a slot player
Coastalbreezes Posted January 20, 2015 #13 Share Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) What are the "Quick Hits"? Quick Hits are progressive jackpot machines. If you are betting max (between $1.50-$5 a pull depending on the machine), and the Quick Hit symbols come up, you can win one of several progressive jackpots. I've hit them many times and they're fun to play. Tracy Edited January 20, 2015 by TracyE
